Our vision is members using and sharing technology to collaborate and develop concepts. We want to provide technology tools to like-minded organizations and communities across the globe. The Co-op empowers members with technology tools and customized training.

Latest DevelopmentsA Cooperative business is being established for the Village Internet Technology Cooperative. Our primary focus is working with organizations dedicated to the drupal CMS and community. We are seeking members who are designers, marketers and code engineers. Our initial service offering is websites and virtual offices, however our long term vision is sustainable technology for our members and their community. |
The purpose for the association is to provide Internet technology, computer infrastructure, marketing support, personal education, research and development, business planning, management and marketing for our members. The association will donate a portion of its revenues to worthy charities and related organizations in the sustainable technologies education, research and development sectors.

Finance and Profit Sharing
Once incorporated, the Cooperative will be offering membership shares. A Membership share is valued at CDN $1080 - this is a lifetime share. There are no yearly fees - members only receive benefits, they do not pay to use the Cooperative products and services. Memberships are available by trade for assets or work.

Members will receive money based on their input into the online payroll accounting database. Workers can create electronic worksheets on this website and information is recorded real-time. The Cooperative will pay members a base salary and also a percentage of project profits based on the percentage of hours worked on a project. Real time payroll information is always available online. Wages start at $25 Canadian and up depending on experience and nature of work. Members receive profit share monthly. A percentage of all Cooperative work will be put aside for company internal technology development, member projects and donations to like-minded organizations.
